I concede that I am neither a saint nor an incorrigible liar, I am between them. But then, I do have a strong belief that when a relationship is built upon a complete lie, that relationship is destined for a failure. Trust is the very foundation of relationship, without it there is no foundation. When trust is betrayed, it is time for a complete rethink of the relationship.

A lot of people, including myself when I was a teenager back then, do not know the importance of a trust. But when their trust have been betrayed by other people, only then did they learned to value a trust. It is sort of like karma. When we betrayed someone trust, someday, our trust will also be betrayed by other people.

Statements above arouse a new question in my mind. Is it necessary for us to be betrayed in order to value trust? I believe, most of you, including myself, will quickly answers “no” to that question. But sadly, it happens all the time in reality. People with good integrity become rarer and rarer as time goes.

The same thing happened to a country with a high corruption level where politicians, bureaucrats and businessmen play with people money, people trust.

I always keep in my mind that if I betrays someone trust, someday, sometimes in the future, other will betray my trust. I have tasted the bitter of betrayal, I know the pain of being betrayed.

For people who in my past have been betrayed, if you read my post. Please know that I was a naïve back then. I was wrong. Forgive me.

For people who have betrayed me. I forgive you. But remember, I am not a Buddha.
